Privacy Policy

God's Church — Bible trivia game with battles

📜The Short Version

Your walk is between you and God — not us. God's Church keeps everything on your own device. We run no servers, require no accounts, show no ads, embed no third-party analytics or trackers, and we never sell, share, or even see your data. The only services the app talks to are Apple's own — Game Center and the App Store — under Apple's privacy protections.

📱What Lives on Your Device

Your progress is stored locally on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Apple Vision Pro and never transmitted to us:

XP, tier, win/loss record, and daily streaks
Questions answered, accuracy, and Verse Slots best scores
Sound, music, and theme preferences
Whether you've unlocked Blessed

Deleting the app deletes all of this. We couldn't recover it if we wanted to — we never had it.

🏆Game Center

If you sign in to Apple Game Center, Apple provides the leaderboards ("Hall of the Faithful"), achievements, and online matchmaking. Through Game Center:

Your Game Center display name and scores (total XP, best streak) appear on leaderboards visible to other players.
In live ranked battles, your display name and in-game XP are exchanged directly with your matched opponent so the match can be presented — nothing else is shared, and there is no chat.

Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can play the entire game without signing in; you'll simply skip the leaderboards, achievements, and live opponents.

✨Purchases

The Blessed upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details, or billing information — the app only learns a simple yes/no: "this Apple ID owns Blessed," which is cached on-device so your purchase works offline and restores on any of your devices.

📺Privacy on Apple TV (tvOS)

God's Church for Apple TV follows this same policy, in full, with nothing added:

No data is collected on Apple TV. Your progress is stored locally on the device.
Game Center on Apple TV uses the account signed in through Settings → Users & Accounts, handled by tvOS itself — the app never sees your credentials.
The app does not use the microphone, does not record your screen, and does not track what you watch. It contains no ads and no trackers.
Purchases and Restore Purchases work through the App Store on Apple TV exactly as described above.

🥽Apple Vision Pro (visionOS)

On Apple Vision Pro the app renders in a simple window. It does not request or access cameras, room scanning, hand-tracking data, or your surroundings. Same policy, same zero collection.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Children

God's Church is wholesome and suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone — adult or child — there is no data to worry about. Game Center for children is managed by parents through Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time controls.

🗑️Deleting Your Data

Local data: delete the app and it's gone, immediately and completely.
Game Center data (scores, achievements, display name) is part of your Apple ID and can be managed or deleted at privacy.apple.com or in device Settings.

⚖️Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Our honest answer: we hold none. There is no database with your name in it, no profile to export, no record to erase. If you have any question or concern, write to us anyway — a human reads every message.

🕊️Changes to This Policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships. The current version always lives at gods.church/privacy.html.
